LGA 1851 ATX board for Intel Core Ultra Series 2 with DDR5 up to 9200 MT/s, PCIe 5.0 x16, four M.2 slots, Wi-Fi 6E AX211 and 2.5 GbE LAN
The GIGABYTE Z890 UD WIFI6E is an ATX motherboard built for Intel Core Ultra Processors (Series 2) using the LGA 1851 socket and Z890 chipset. It targets builders who need a mainstream foundation for high-speed DDR5 memory and modern connectivity. Four 288-pin slots support dual-channel kits up to 256 GB with Intel XMP 3.0 profiles. A 12+1+2 phase power design uses 60 A DrMOS to deliver stable current to the CPU.
A VRM Thermal Armor covers the power delivery area while an M.2 Thermal Guard addresses the primary storage slot, keeping component temperatures in check during everyday workloads. The board draws power through standard ATX and CPU connectors without requiring exotic cooling. In typical desktop use the VRM and M.2 heatsinks run quietly, and the 2.5 GbE LAN plus Intel Wi-Fi 6E AX211 provide wired and wireless networking without adding audible fan noise.
Under prolonged heavy compute the 12+1+2 phase VRM with 60 A DrMOS maintains consistent voltage regulation while the Thermal Armor dissipates heat across its surface area. The M.2 Thermal Guard prevents throttle on the primary drive during extended write sequences. Rear I/O includes USB4, DisplayPort, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, PS/2 combo, 2.5 GbE LAN and 7.1 channel audio, so peripherals remain connected without bandwidth contention during long sessions.

Other versions of this model
Yes, DDR5-6000 is a supported JEDEC speed and will run at that frequency without overclocking.
Yes, a front-panel USB Type-C header is included for cases with a USB-C port.
The primary PCIe 5.0 x16 slot runs independently of the M.2 slots, so all three can be used simultaneously.
