Micro-ATX server board for AMD EPYC 4004/4005 and Ryzen 9000/8000/7000 CPUs, four DDR5 ECC slots up to 192 GB, one PCIe 5.0 x16, one M.2 5.0 x4, dual 25 GbE SFP28 plus dual 1 GbE
The ASRock Rack B650D4U3-2L2Q/BCM is a Micro-ATX server motherboard built for AMD EPYC 4004, 4005 and Ryzen 9000, 8000, 7000 series processors. It fits single-socket systems that need ECC memory and high-speed networking in a compact footprint.
Builders assembling storage nodes, edge appliances or virtualisation hosts with one processor will match the board's feature set. Buyers who want more storage than four SATA ports provide, or who need multi-processor scaling, should look at something else.
Onboard Broadcom BCM57502 gives two 25Gbps SFP28 links plus two 1Gbps RJ45 ports from an Intel I210 controller. If the deployment requires fibre uplinks at 25GbE this board matches; otherwise a 1GbE-only board covers the same basics.

Align the triangle on the CPU with the socket corner, lower the retention frame, then torque the captive screws in a cross pattern to the specified pressure; the step most often missed is applying the correct mounting pressure for the 170W TDP cooler bracket.
The four 288-pin slots support up to 192GB of DDR5 5600 ECC UDIMM; modules only need replacement if a correctable error count exceeds the platform threshold or a DIMM fails POST, otherwise no scheduled swap is required.
The SFP28 transceiver modules typically hit their case-temperature threshold before the Broadcom BCM57502 controller does, so adequate chassis airflow over the cage assemblies is the first practical limit.
