ATX board for LGA 1151 CPUs with Intel Z270 chipset, four DDR4 slots up to 64GB, two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots, six SATA 6.0Gb/s ports, two M.2 sockets, 7.1 audio and gigabit LAN
The ASRock Z270 Killer SLI is an ATX motherboard built for 6th and 7th generation Intel Core, Pentium and Celeron processors. It delivers the Z270 feature set including CPU overclocking support and multi-GPU capability for enthusiasts building a high-performance desktop.
Four 288-pin slots accept DDR4 up to 3733+(OC) with a 7th generation CPU, while 6th generation processors top out at 2133. Maximum capacity is 64GB. Two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots run at x16 single or x8/x8 dual, and four PCIe 3.0 x1 slots provide additional expansion bandwidth.
Six SATA3 6.0Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5, 10 plus Intel Rapid Storage Technology 15. Two Ultra M.2 sockets take 2230 to 2280 modules at PCIe 3.0 x4 (32Gb/s) or SATA3 6.0Gb/s, with NVMe boot support and Intel Optane technology compatibility.

The board lists DDR4 up to 2400 for 7th Gen CPUs; higher speeds such as 3733+(OC) are only validated with specific modules on the vendor memory support list.
The Ultra M.2 sockets run at PCIe 3.0 x4, providing a 32 Gb/s electrical link; actual NVMe throughput will be lower after protocol overhead and depends on the drive itself.
Two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots are present; they run at x16 when one is used and split to x8/x8 when both are populated for SLI.
