Everyday laptop for office and study

The ASUS VivoBook Go 15.6" FHD is a new Windows 11 Home notebook built around an AMD Ryzen 5 7520U 8-core processor that reaches 4.3GHz. It carries 8GB DDR4 memory and a 4TB NVMe SSD, giving enough space for large document libraries and media collections. The integrated AMD Radeon graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch panel for standard productivity and streaming.

Privacy shutter and 180-degree hinge change daily

A physical webcam privacy shutter blocks the camera lens when not in use, a hardware feature that software toggles cannot replicate. The 180-degree lay-flat hinge lets the screen rest flat on a desk, useful for sharing content in meetings or collaborative work without an external stand. These two design details address privacy and ergonomics directly.

Integrated graphics and soldered memory set hard

The AMD Radeon graphics share system memory, so 3D rendering, video editing or modern gaming performance is constrained by the 8GB DDR4 capacity. That memory is not upgradeable, capping multitasking headroom for the life of the device. Buyers who need discrete GPU power or user-expandable RAM should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

Can the 8GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The 8GB DDR4 is soldered to the board and cannot be expanded.

What limits performance first during long workloads on the Ryzen 5 7520U?

The 15 W power envelope and integrated Radeon graphics throttle sustained clocks before thermals peak.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the 15.6" FHD panel and 4TB NVMe SSD run all day?

Fan noise stays low at idle; under load the single fan spins up audibly while the keyboard deck reaches warm but comfortable temperatures.
