Supports Intel 13th and 12th Gen processors up to 125 W with four DDR5 slots for 128 GB at 4400 MHz and dual PCIe x16 graphics
The ASUS Q670EM-IM-A is an IoT server motherboard built for LGA1700 processors up to 125 watts. It supports 13th and 12th generation Intel CPUs and provides four U-DIMM slots for a maximum of 128 GB DDR5 4400 MHz memory. Two PCIe x16 slots allow dual graphics cards and four DisplayPort outputs drive multiple displays. The board is rated for continuous operation between zero and 60 °C and carries a seven-year longevity supply commitment.
This board replaces older LGA1700 designs that max out at lower memory speeds or fewer expansion slots. The jump is worthwhile when you need 4400 MHz DDR5 capacity up to 128 GB, dual x16 graphics support or the extended temperature range for industrial deployment. It is not suited for builds that require more than two x16 slots, higher CPU power limits or memory speeds beyond 4400 MHz.
Standard ATX mounting applies and the LGA1700 socket uses a familiar retention mechanism. Install DDR5 modules in the four U-DIMM slots according to the manual's population rules for 4400 MHz operation. Ensure the chassis airflow can dissipate up to 125 watts from the CPU across the zero to 60 °C range. The most common issue is neglecting the EPS power connectors required for the higher-wattage processors, which prevents the system from posting.
