Compact Tenkeyless Layout

The ASUS ROG Strix Scope NX TKL is an 80% mechanical gaming keyboard built for competitive FPS players who need extra desk space for broad mouse movements. Its tenkeyless form factor removes the numeric cluster while keeping the essential keys within reach. An enlarged left Ctrl key reduces accidental presses during intense firefights. The keyboard connects via a single USB 2.0 port and supports Windows 10 out of the box.

Upgrade From Membrane Or Full-Size Boards

Switching from a membrane keyboard or a full-size mechanical model gives you faster actuation and a smaller footprint that suits low-sensitivity aiming. The ROG NX Red tactile switches feature lubricated stems for smooth travel and lubricated housings to eliminate bouncing noise. A detachable braided USB Type-A to Type-C cable simplifies transport and prevents connector wear. The Quick-Toggle Switch instantly swaps the top row between media and function roles for work or play.

Consistent Feel During Long Sessions

An aluminium top plate adds rigidity so the keyboard resists flex during rapid, repeated keystrokes. Per-key RGB LEDs provide illumination without affecting switch performance. The Stealth key hides all apps and mutes audio with one tap for instant privacy. ROG-tuned force curves deliver consistent keystroke feel across the board, maintaining reliability through extended gaming or typing marathons.

Questions about this item

What desk space does the tenkeyless 14.02" width need?

The keyboard measures 14.02 inches wide, 5.36 inches deep and 1.56 inches high, so a clear area slightly larger than that footprint is required.

How do I attach the detachable braided USB Type-A to Type-C cable correctly?

Plug the USB-C end firmly into the keyboard's rear port and the USB-A end into a PC USB 2.0 port; the reversible USB-C connector removes orientation guesswork.

When should I expect to replace the ROG NX Red mechanical switches?

The lubricated stem and housing are rated for a long lifespan; replacement is only needed if a key becomes inconsistent after heavy use.
