ASUS G12 Gaming Mouse 16 Button

The ASUS G12 is a gaming mouse with sixteen programmable buttons and a right-handed optical sensor. It connects via 2.4 GHz wireless, Bluetooth, or a wired USB Type‑C adapter. A built‑in rechargeable battery removes the need for disposable cells, and silent left‑right switches keep clicks quiet.

Suits travellers wanting a slim rechargeable mouse

The compact 4.4 x 2.2 x 0.79 inch frame slips into a laptop bag and works with Windows, macOS, Linux and Chrome OS through USB‑A or USB‑C ports. Buyers who need a left‑handed shape, a heavier chassis, or a higher‑resolution sensor should look elsewhere.

Sixteen buttons cover complex macros

The optical sensor handles everyday gaming and productivity, while the touch‑scroll wheel speeds through long documents. Battery life lasts weeks per charge; the mouse enters sleep mode after eight idle minutes and the LED lighting can be disabled to stretch runtime further.

Questions about this item

Does this ASUS G12 mouse need a free USB-A port or can I use the included USB-C adapter instead?

The box includes both a USB-A receiver and a USB-C adapter, so you can plug the receiver into either port type on your computer.

Will the 16-button layout and optical sensor still work if I keep using a Windows 98 or ME machine?

The specifications list Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP among the supported operating systems, so the mouse functions on those older versions.

How do I confirm the rechargeable battery is full after the first two-hour charge?

The blue indicator beside the scroll wheel stays lit while charging and turns off once the battery reaches full capacity.
