16-Button Wireless Mouse for Right-Handed Users

The ASUS Q23S Halpilt is a right-handed optical mouse with 16 programmable buttons and a weight of 96 grams. It connects through 2.4 GHz wireless with a USB-A nano receiver, Bluetooth, or a wired USB Type-C link. The sensor offers three selectable DPI steps of 1000, 1200 and 1600.

Dual Receivers and Rechargeable Battery Change

A USB-A and a USB Type-C nano receiver are both supplied, letting the mouse pair with devices that only have Type-C ports without an adapter. The built-in 450 mAh lithium-ion cell recharges in about two hours and yields up to 500 hours of operation. Silent switches cut click noise by roughly 90 percent.

2.4 GHz Band and Optical Sensor Set Practical Limits

The 2.4 GHz link works at up to 33 feet but only one wireless mode can be active at a time. The optical sensor tops out at 1600 DPI, so the mouse is not suited for users who need very high sensitivity or a polling rate above the 250 Hz stated in the specifications.
