Micro-ATX server board for Intel Xeon E and Core processors with four gigabit LAN ports, six SATA connections and up to 128 GB DDR4 ECC memory
The ASUS P11C-M/4L is a micro-ATX motherboard built on the Intel C242 chipset for LGA 1151 socket processors. It supports Intel Xeon E-2100 family CPUs alongside Core i3, Pentium and Celeron chips up to 95W TDP. Four DDR4 DIMM slots accept UDIMM modules at 2666 or 2400 MHz with or without ECC. The board fits short-depth chassis measuring 9.6 by 9.6 inches.
This board suits administrators who need four gigabit Ethernet ports with teaming and failover plus a dedicated management LAN. Six SATA 6Gb/s ports and one M.2 2242 connector handle storage, while Intel RSTe provides software RAID 0, 1, 5 and 10. Builds needing more than six SATA ports or a second full-length PCIe x16 slot should consider other form factors.
The decisive spec is the pair of PCI Express Gen3 slots: one x16 link that drops to x8 when the second x8 slot is populated. This layout determines whether a RAID controller, NIC or GPU can be added alongside another card. Optional ASUS PIKE II 3008-8i or 3108-8i SAS cards connect via these slots for 12G SAS RAID.

The official specification lists 64 GB maximum, while the manufacturer highlights mention up to 128 GB across four DIMM slots. Plan for 64 GB unless you validate 128 GB with your specific CPU and BIOS revision.
DDR4 2666 is the highest rated UDIMM speed the memory controller supports. With ECC or non-ECC modules installed the system will operate at 2666 MT/s or fall back to 2400 MT/s depending on the processor and DIMM configuration.
Slot 6 runs at Gen3 x16 link width, but automatically drops to x8 when slot 7 is occupied because both slots share the CPU's Gen3 lane budget.
