System identity

This ASUS Prime AP202 desktop pairs a Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor at 4.7GHz with a GeForce RTX 5090 carrying 32GB GDDR7, 128GB DDR5 memory and a 2TB NVMe SSD. A 360mm liquid cooler and 1200W supply support the high-performance parts, while Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and WiFi with RGB lighting are included.

Upgrade path

The combination targets enthusiasts replacing an older platform that cannot match 16-core Ryzen 9000-series performance or the RTX 5090 graphics tier. The jump is worth it when current hardware limits frame rates at high resolutions or struggles with heavy multitasking workloads that benefit from 128GB memory and fast NVMe storage.

Compatibility checklist

Verify that your display inputs suit the RTX 5090 PCI Express x16 interface and that your desk space accommodates a full-size liquid-cooled tower. Confirm the 1200W power supply meets local mains requirements and that any planned peripheral additions fit the available motherboard slots and SATA III ports.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit inside the AP202 case?

The system ships with the 360 mm liquid cooler already installed in the AP202 chassis, so no additional clearance checks are needed.

How do I add more DDR5 memory to the four slots?

All four DDR5 slots are populated to reach 128 GB; to increase capacity you must replace existing modules with higher-density DDR5 sticks.

When should the liquid cooler coolant be refreshed?

The sealed 360 mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its service life; no coolant replacement is required unless a leak develops.
