System overview

The ASUS Prime AP202 is a pre-built gaming desktop that pairs an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want a ready-to-play system for high-refresh 1440p or entry 4K gaming without assembling parts themselves.

Memory and storage headroom

128GB of DDR5 memory across four populated slots leaves no free DIMM positions for future expansion. The 2TB NVMe solid-state drive provides fast boot and load times, though users with large game libraries or media archives will need additional SATA or NVMe drives to increase capacity.

Graphics specification

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti includes 16GB of GDDR7 video memory on a PCI Express x16 interface and is marked virtual-reality ready. This GPU tier determines whether the system meets the frame-rate and feature requirements of a specific title or workflow.

Questions about this item

Will the AM5 socket on this Ryzen 9 9950X system accept my existing DDR5 memory modules?

The motherboard provides four DDR5 slots, all populated with the included 128GB kit. Your existing DDR5 modules will fit the same slots, but you would need to replace the installed memory to use them.

How can I verify the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the 16-core CPU at safe temperatures under load?

After booting into Windows 11, open a monitoring utility such as HWMonitor or the ASUS Armoury Crate software and observe the CPU package temperature while running a stress test; it should remain well below the thermal limit.

Does the 850W power supply include the PCIe cables required for the RTX 5070 Ti, or must I purchase them separately?

The RTX 5070 Ti graphics card is pre-installed and connected to the 850W unit with the necessary PCIe power cables, so no additional cables are needed for the GPU.
