Curved Case With 9.2-Inch Display

The ASUS ROG Cronox GR801 Curved Deluxe Edition is a white computer case built from aluminium, steel, tempered glass and plastic. It fits E-ATX boards up to 12 by 10.9 inches as well as ATX, Micro-ATX and Mini-ITX. A 9.2-inch ROG-exclusive secondary display is integrated into the curved front panel. Front I/O includes a headset combo jack, LED lighting control, four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and two USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 Type-C ports.

Upgrade From Standard Mid-Tower

Builders moving from a conventional mid-tower without an integrated secondary screen will gain the 9.2-inch display and the curved glass aesthetic. The jump is worth it when the extra visual real-time monitoring or branding matters more than the 218 mm width constraint. The case still accepts graphics cards up to 400 mm long and CPU coolers up to 180 mm tall. Power supplies up to 200 mm deep are supported.

Limits Of The 400 MM GPU Clearance

The 400 mm maximum graphics card length rules out the longest triple-fan models on the market. Liquid cooling radiators can be mounted at the top, right side and rear in 120, 240 or 360 mm sizes, while the rear also takes a single 120 mm unit. Air cooling support covers 120 mm fans at top, right side, rear and bottom. Cable management space behind the motherboard tray is 40 mm. Removable dust filters sit at the top and bottom.

Questions about this item

What clearance does the case give for a 400 mm graphics card and a 200 mm power supply?

The interior supports graphics cards up to 400 mm long and power supplies up to 200 mm deep, leaving room for most flagship GPUs and standard ATX units.

How do I mount the motherboard so the 9.2 inch secondary display lines up with the cut-out?

Install the board using the standard ATX standoffs first, then attach the display bracket to the right-side panel before closing the case; the display cable routes through the grommet behind the motherboard tray.

Which dust filters need regular cleaning and how are they removed?

Magnetic filters on the top and bottom panels pull off without tools; vacuum or rinse them every few months to keep airflow through the 120, 240 and 360 mm radiator mounts clear.
