USB-C Hi-Res Gaming Headset

The ASUS ROG Delta is a wired gaming headset built around a Hi-Res ESS 9218 Quad-DAC and 50 millimeter ASUS Essence drivers in airtight chambers. It connects via USB-C with an included USB 2.0 adapter for PC, Mac, PlayStation 4 and USB-C mobile devices. Circular RGB lighting and on-headset volume and lighting controls complete the package.

Competitive FPS Players and Multi-Platform Gamers

The 127 dB signal-to-noise ratio and per-frequency DAC architecture reveal quiet footsteps and positional cues that matter in shooters. Two sets of D-shaped ear cushions, hybrid and 100 percent protein leather, let users tune comfort and isolation. Buyers who want wireless freedom, simultaneous multi-device pairing or a lighter frame should look elsewhere.

ESS 9218 Quad-DAC with 127 dB SNR

Four ESS 9218 DACs each handle a dedicated frequency band — lows, mids, highs and ultra-highs — then combine for lossless processing. This single specification determines whether the headset delivers the clarity and dynamic range that competitive gaming demands.

Questions about this item

Will the USB-C connector and included USB 2.0 adapter let me use this headset with my older PC that only has USB-A ports?

Yes, the USB-C to USB 2.0 adapter connects the headset to standard USB-A ports on PCs, Macs, PlayStation 4 and USB-enabled mobile devices.

How can I verify the ESS 9218 quad-DAC is delivering the stated 127dB signal-to-noise ratio after I plug it in?

The headset operates at 127dB SNR by design; you will hear the low-noise floor as a silent background when no audio is playing and clear detail across lows, mids, highs and ultra-highs in games.

Which ear cushions are included in the box and do I need to buy any cables separately?

Two sets of D-shaped ROG ear cushions are included — one hybrid and one 100 percent protein leather — plus the USB-C cable and USB-C to USB 2.0 adapter; no extra cables are required.
