What the Barracuda Mercury delivers

The Razer Barracuda Mercury is a wireless gaming headset built for PC, PlayStation and mobile devices. It connects through 2.4 GHz wireless via USB-C, Bluetooth 5.2 or a 3.5 mm cable. Integrated beamforming microphones suppress background noise. Fifty-millimetre drivers cover 20 Hz to 20 kHz at 32 ohm impedance.

Limits of the wireless interfaces

The 2.4 GHz link requires a free USB-C port on a PC or a USB-A to USB-C adapter on PlayStation. Bluetooth 5.2 works with any device supporting that standard. Passive noise isolation depends on the oval ear cushions sealing against the head. Battery life reaches 40 hours per charge; recharging uses USB-C. No active noise cancellation is fitted.

Check your setup before ordering

Verify that your PC or console has an available USB-C port for the 2.4 GHz dongle or a USB-A port for the supplied adapter. Confirm your mobile device supports Bluetooth 5.2 or has a USB-C port for wired use. The headset weighs 300 g, so ensure comfort for long sessions. No software features are detailed in the specifications.
