Gaming laptop for high-refresh play

The ASUS ROG Strix G16 pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 8940HX with a GeForce RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 GPU and 64GB DDR5 memory. A 16.0" WUXGA panel at 1920 x 1200 runs at 165Hz for smooth motion in fast titles. Windows 11 Pro ships pre-installed on the 2TB internal drive.

Capacity and headroom

64GB DDR5 and the 16-core processor give ample room for heavy multitasking, streaming while gaming, and large creative projects. The RTX 5070 8GB GDDR7 handles modern titles at high settings on the 165Hz display. Storage totals 3TB when the included 1TB docking station is connected, while the internal 2TB drive alone may fill quickly with big game libraries.

Bundled docking station and extras

A 7-in-1 docking station adds 1TB of external storage and expands connectivity beyond the laptop's 2x USB-C, 2x USB-A 3.2, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45 and combo audio jack. Also included: a 32GB microSD card with adapter, a USB-C data cable, a 3-in-1 charging cable and a suede cleaning cloth.
