Built for high-refresh gaming

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor running at 4.7GHz with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR6 memory. The 64GB DDR5 configuration across four slots supports demanding titles and multitasking workloads. It targets players who want a liquid-cooled system ready for 1440p or 4K gaming without assembly.

360mm liquid cooling manages heat

A 360mm all-in-one cooler keeps the 16-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions, reducing the need for high fan speeds. The 750W power supply delivers headroom for the GPU and storage array under load. Acoustic output stays controlled because the liquid loop handles the primary thermal load before case fans ramp up.

Dual-drive layout separates speed from capacity

The 1TB NVMe SSD holds the operating system and active games for fast load times, while the 2TB SATA III HDD stores larger media libraries and backups. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and the system ships tested. Builders who need more than 2TB of mechanical storage or a second graphics card should plan upgrades separately.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 360mm liquid cooler on the AM5 socket without bending pins?

Align the triangle marker on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D with the socket corner, lower the CPU gently without force, lock the retention arm, then mount the pre-filled 360mm radiator using the included AM5 brackets and tighten the thumb-screws in a cross pattern for even pressure.

When will the 750W power supply need replacement under daily gaming loads?

A quality 750W unit typically lasts five to seven years; watch for coil whine, random restarts or voltage drift under the Radeon RX 9070 and 16-core CPU load, then swap in another ATX 750W or higher unit with the same connector set.

What thermal limit appears first during extended 4.7GHz all-core sessions?

The CPU package temperature will hit its maximum junction threshold before the 360mm liquid loop saturates, causing the Ryzen 7 9800X3D to reduce boost clocks to protect the 16-core die.
