Desktop built for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 desktop pairs a 12-core Ryzen 9 9900X processor running at 4.4GHz with a Radeon RX 9070 graphics card holding 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The 64GB of DDR5 RAM and 1TB NVMe SSD plus 2TB SATA III HDD give ample space and speed for modern titles and content creation. It ships with Windows 11 Home pre-installed and a 360mm liquid cooler for the CPU.

PCIe x16 graphics interface

The Radeon RX 9070 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, which sets the bandwidth ceiling for the GPU. System memory uses DDR5 technology across four slots, all currently populated, so the platform runs at the rated DDR5 speed without mixing generations. Storage splits between a 1TB NVMe drive for the operating system and key applications and a 2TB hard drive on a SATA III port for bulk data.

Pre-assembled liquid-cooled system ready to run

The PC arrives fully built, tested and configured with a 360mm liquid cooler already mounted on the processor, so there are no cooler brackets or thermal paste steps for the buyer. All four memory slots are occupied, meaning any future RAM upgrade requires removing existing modules. The 750W power supply is sized for the included components; adding further high-power cards or drives would need a capacity check.

Questions about this item

Which storage option should I pick between the 1TB NVMe and 2TB HDD?

The 1TB NVMe drive boots Windows 11 and loads games at solid-state speed, while the 2TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for media and archives.

What does the Ryzen 9 9900X 4.4GHz base clock deliver in this system?

Its 12 cores at 4.4 GHz give strong single-thread speed for gaming and multi-thread throughput for streaming or rendering, backed by a 360 mm liquid cooler.

How does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the Radeon RX 9070?

The card runs at full x16 bandwidth, so the 16 GB GDDR6 GPU is not bottlenecked by the interface and can feed high-resolution textures without slot restriction.
