Gaming desktop with Ryzen 7 9800X3D

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 desktop pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D processor running at 4.7GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It targets players who want a pre-built system ready for 4K gaming and heavy multitasking without selecting parts themselves. Builders who prefer to choose every component or need a smaller chassis will not find that flexibility here.

Dual-drive storage and liquid cooling

A 1TB NVMe SSD holds the operating system and active titles for fast load times, while a 2TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for media and backups. The included 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions, and the 1000W power supply feeds the RTX 5080 and other components. Users who want a different cooler design or a single larger SSD must accept the factory configuration.

Ready-to-use Windows 11 system

The PC ships with Windows 11 Home installed, tested and configured for immediate use; Wi-Fi and RGB lighting are functional out of the box. Component brands may vary between units, so internal cable routing or exact memory timings can differ from review samples. Buyers who plan to overclock heavily or replace the motherboard should verify clearance and firmware options before opening the case.

Questions about this item

When will the 360mm liquid cooler need its coolant replaced or the pump serviced?

The 360mm liquid cooler is a sealed AIO unit designed for the lifetime of the build; no coolant replacement or pump service is scheduled by the manufacturer.

Which component hits its thermal or power ceiling first during extended heavy loads on the Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080?

The 1000W power supply is rated to cover peak draw from both the 16-core CPU and the 16GB GDDR7 GPU, so the first limit reached will be the thermal capacity of the 360mm radiator under sustained all-core workloads.

How loud does the 360mm liquid cooler get when the system runs all day under gaming load?

Under continuous load the 360mm radiator fans typically spin at moderate RPM, producing a low hum that stays well below distracting levels in a normal room environment.
