16-Core Ryzen 9 9950X3D Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D processor at 4.3GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card carrying 12GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 128GB DDR5 RAM across four slots, a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD. It is built for enthusiasts who want high core counts and modern GPU architecture in a liquid-cooled chassis.

360mm Liquid Cooling Under Load

A 360mm liquid cooler manages the 16-core CPU during extended gaming or rendering sessions, while the 850W power supply feeds both the processor and RTX 5070 graphics card. The DDR5 memory and NVMe storage maintain throughput when large assets stream continuously. Windows 11 Home runs on the 64-bit platform without thermal throttling during sustained workloads.

PCI Express x16 and NVMe Limits

The RTX 5070 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, defining the graphics bandwidth ceiling for this build. The 4TB NVMe SSD operates at its native protocol speed, while the 2TB hard drive remains bound to the SATA III interface. Four DDR5 slots are fully populated at 128GB, leaving no room for memory expansion without module replacement.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the Ryzen 9 9950X3D when the PC runs all day?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 16-core Ryzen 9 9950X3D at its 4.3 GHz base frequency, so temperatures and fan noise stay controlled during extended gaming or work sessions.

What display cable and monitor input do I need to use the RTX 5070 graphics card?

The RTX 5070 connects via PCI Express x16 and outputs through its own DisplayPort and HDMI ports, so you need a monitor with a matching input and the appropriate cable.

Will my existing SATA III hard drives or 2.5-inch SSDs work inside this chassis alongside the 4 TB NVMe boot drive?

Yes, the 2 TB HDD uses a SATA III connection and the case provides additional SATA ports and drive bays, so older SATA drives can be installed alongside the NVMe SSD.
