ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF processor with 20 cores reaching 5.4GHz. It pairs an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT graphics card holding 16GB of GDDR6 memory with 128GB of DDR5 system memory across four slots. A 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD provide the primary storage pool, powered by an 850W supply running Windows 11 Home.

Suits 4K gamers and creators; not for compact builds

This system targets players who want high-refresh 4K performance and creators who need large, fast storage plus 128GB of RAM for heavy multitasking or content pipelines. The 360mm liquid cooler and full-size chassis demand a standard ATX footprint with generous airflow, so buyers planning a small-form-factor or mini-ITX build should look elsewhere.

128GB DDR5 across four populated slots

The memory subsystem ships with all four DDR5 slots filled to reach 128GB, leaving no free slots for further expansion without replacing existing modules. Any future upgrade therefore requires a full kit swap rather than a simple addition.

Should I choose the 128 GB DDR5 configuration or is a smaller capacity available for this model?

This unit is supplied with 128 GB of DDR5 memory installed across four slots; no alternative capacity is offered for this specific build.

What does the 5.4 GHz figure on the Core Ultra 7 265KF mean for actual gaming frame rates?
