ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS gaming desktop pairs an Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF 20-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card. It ships with 64GB DDR5 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD, a 2TB SATA HDD and Windows 11 Home pre-installed. The system targets enthusiasts who want a liquid-cooled, ready-to-play rig for high-refresh 1440p or 4K gaming.

Sustained load with 360mm liquid cooler

A 360mm all-in-one liquid cooler keeps the 5.4GHz 20-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions. The 850W power supply delivers steady current to the RTX 5070 Ti and all storage drives without throttling. Components remain cool enough for marathon gaming or rendering workloads.

16GB GDDR7 VRAM on RTX 5070 Ti

The graphics card provides 16GB of GDDR7 video memory on a PCI Express x16 link. That VRAM capacity is the deciding factor for 4K texture packs, heavy ray-tracing titles and VR applications. Buyers who need more video memory for professional 3D workloads should look at workstation-class cards.

Questions about this item

How loud does the 360mm liquid cooler get when the Intel Core Ultra 7 265KF runs at 5.4GHz all day?

The 360mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 20-core CPU at its 5.4GHz base frequency. Liquid cooling typically runs quieter than air coolers under sustained load because the larger radiator surface dissipates heat at lower fan speeds.

Do I need to buy a monitor, keyboard and mouse separately for this desktop?

Yes, the ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a tower-only system. You will need to provide your own display, keyboard and mouse. It includes WiFi for wireless connectivity and Windows 11 Home pre-installed.

Can I keep using my older SATA III hard drives alongside the 2TB NVMe SSD?

The motherboard includes SATA III ports, so the existing 2TB HDD and any additional SATA drives you own can be connected directly. The 2TB NVMe SSD occupies an M.2 slot, leaving the SATA interface free for legacy storage.
