ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled gaming desktop built around an Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor running at 3.4GHz. It pairs that CPU with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card carrying 16GB GDDR7 memory. The system includes 64GB DDR5 RAM across four slots, a 4TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, and an 850W power supply. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed for immediate use.

Upgrade from older desktops or integrated graphics

Buyers moving from a system with an older processor, integrated graphics or a previous-generation GPU will see the jump to 20 cores, 64GB DDR5 and the RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7. The combination of high core count, fast NVMe storage and liquid cooling makes the upgrade worth it when workloads demand sustained multi-threaded performance and modern graphics features. Component brands may vary inside the chassis.

Simple setup with liquid cooling already installed

The 360mm liquid cooler arrives pre-filled and mounted, so there is no separate radiator or pump installation required. Connect power, peripherals and a display, then boot into Windows 11. The main risk is transit movement loosening a GPU bracket or a memory module; reseat the card and RAM if the system fails to POST. Component brands may vary, so cable routing inside the case can differ from online guides.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler fit in a standard mid-tower case?

The ROG Strix Helios GX601 chassis is designed around the 360 mm radiator, so the cooler mounts internally without extra brackets.

What is the first step when installing the pre-filled 360 mm liquid cooler?

The cooler arrives pre-installed; the step users often miss is connecting the pump header to the CPU_FAN socket on the motherboard before first boot.

When will the 360 mm liquid cooler need coolant replacement?

The sealed loop is maintenance-free for the system's lifespan; no coolant top-up or replacement is required.
