  • 64GB DDR5 plus 2TB NVMe and 2TB HDD give fast, ample storage
  • 850W supply and Windows 11 Home support stable, ready-to-play operation

Ready-to-play desktop for high-refresh gaming

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White arrives assembled with Windows 11 Home, a 20-core Intel Core i7-14700KF at 3.4GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti with 16GB GDDR7. A 360mm liquid cooler keeps the CPU stable under sustained load. 64GB DDR5 across four slots and a dual-drive layout of 2TB NVMe plus 2TB SATA III HDD provide space for a large library.

PCI Express x16 graphics slot

The GPU connects through a PCI Express x16 link, which sets the electrical ceiling for the RTX 5070 Ti. The 2TB hard drive runs on SATA III, so its sequential throughput is limited to that bus. Four DDR5 slots are populated, leaving no free sockets for further memory expansion without replacing modules.

850W power supply defines total system headroom

The included 850W unit powers the 20-core CPU, the RTX 5070 Ti, liquid cooling and all storage simultaneously. Its rated output is the single figure that determines whether the build can sustain peak gaming loads or accept a higher-tier graphics card later. Buyers who need more headroom for dual-GPU setups or extreme overclocking cannot meet that need with this chassis.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD combo or a single larger NVMe drive?

The system ships with a 2TB NVMe SSD for fast boot and game loads plus a 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk storage; if you prefer one volume you can add another NVMe later using the spare M.2 slot.

What does the 3.4GHz base clock on the i7-14700KF actually deliver in games?

The 20-core i7-14700KF runs at 3.4GHz base and boosts higher under load, giving strong single-thread speed for modern titles while the 360mm liquid cooler keeps temperatures in check during long sessions.

Does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the RTX 5070 Ti in any way?

The GeForce RTX 5070 Ti 16GB GDDR7 connects through a full PCI Express x16 link so the graphics card can use its full bandwidth without interface bottlenecks.
