ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This pre-built desktop combines an Intel Core i9-14900KF 24-core processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card. It includes 32GB of DDR5 memory, a 2TB NVMe SSD, a 2TB SATA HDD and a 1000W power supply. A 360mm liquid cooler manages CPU temperatures. Windows 11 Home is installed.

Suits 4K gaming and heavy multitasking.

The high-end component list targets enthusiasts who want 4K frame rates and fast asset loading without assembling parts. The full-tower chassis and 360mm liquid cooler require generous desk space. Buyers needing a small-form-factor system or a lower power draw should consider other configurations.

PCI Express x16 graphics interface decides upgrade

The RTX 5080 connects through a standard PCI Express x16 slot, so future GPU swaps depend on physical clearance and power-headroom inside the Helios GX601 case. The 1000W supply supports current and next-generation cards within similar power envelopes. Verify length and connector compatibility before purchasing a replacement.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA III hard drives plug straight into this motherboard?

The 2 TB HDD already installed uses a SATA III connection, so any additional SATA III drive you keep will fit the same interface.

How can I verify the 360 mm liquid cooler is keeping the i9-14900KF at safe temperatures?

Open the ROG Armoury Crate dashboard after boot; it shows real-time CPU temperature and pump speed so you can confirm the 360 mm cooler is active.

Which storage drives and memory are included, and what might I need to add?

The box contains a 2 TB NVMe SSD, a 2 TB SATA III HDD and 32 GB of DDR5 RAM filling all four slots; extra storage is the only likely addition.
