White chassis liquid-cooled desktop

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop PC driven by an Intel Core i9-14900KF 24-core processor at 3.2GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5080 graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, a 360mm liquid cooler and a 1000W power supply running Windows 11 Home.

Sustained-load thermal behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler dissipates heat from the 24-core CPU during extended sessions, keeping clock speeds stable when all cores are active. The 1000W power supply delivers continuous headroom for the RTX 5080 and platform without throttling, while the LGA 1700 socket and four DDR5 slots remain fully populated for consistent memory bandwidth.

Upgrade context and value threshold

This system replaces an older desktop that lacks a 24-core CPU, GDDR7 graphics memory or a 360mm liquid loop. The jump is worthwhile when the workload demands 64GB DDR5 capacity and dual 2TB drives in a single validated build. Buyers who need a smaller chassis, a lower core count or a different GPU tier should look elsewhere.

Questions about this item

How loud and hot does the 360 mm liquid cooler keep the i9-14900KF during all-day loads?

The 360 mm liquid cooler is designed to handle the 24-core i9-14900KF's heat output, maintaining lower temperatures and quieter operation than air coolers under sustained gaming or rendering workloads.

Does the 1000 W power supply include the PCIe cables required for the RTX 5080 16 GB GDDR7 card?

Yes, the included 1000 W unit ships with the necessary PCIe power connectors for the factory-installed RTX 5080, so no extra cables are needed.

Can I keep my existing SATA III 2 TB hard drive alongside the pre-installed NVMe SSD and HDD?

The motherboard provides additional SATA III ports, allowing you to install your current 2 TB hard drive alongside the existing 2 TB NVMe SSD and 2 TB HDD.
