ROG Strix Helios GX601 White gaming desktop

This ASUS desktop pairs an Intel Core i7-14700KF 20-core processor running at 3.4GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card holding 12GB GDDR7 memory. The system ships with 64GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA HDD, plus Windows 11 Home pre-installed. It targets players and creators who want a high-specification machine ready for immediate use.

360mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply

A 360mm liquid cooler handles CPU thermals while the 850W unit feeds the graphics card and other components. The chassis includes Wi-Fi and RGB lighting, and the motherboard provides four DDR5 slots with all four currently populated. PCI Express x16 connects the GPU, and the SATA III interface links the mechanical drive.

Windows 11 Home and tested build

Windows 11 Home is installed and the supplier states the PC ships tested and ready to play. Component brands may vary across units, so the exact make of memory, storage or power supply is not fixed. Buyers who need a confirmed brand for every part or who want more storage bays than the two drives supplied should note this variability.

Questions about this item

What PCI Express standard does the RTX 5070 graphics interface use and what does that cap in practice?

The GPU connects through a PCI Express x16 slot so the interface caps at the bandwidth of the generation the motherboard implements

What physical space does the 360 mm liquid cooler need to fit inside the chassis?

A 360 mm radiator needs a mounting area that accepts three fan positions and enough depth for the radiator and fans

How is the liquid cooler installed and which step do people often get wrong?

The 360 mm liquid cooler mounts on the CPU socket and the radiator attaches to the case; the step people often miss is removing the protective film from the cold plate before securing the block
