ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This desktop is built for enthusiasts who demand top-tier performance in a single system. It ships new with a 24-core Intel Core Ultra 9 285K processor and an AMD Radeon RX 9070 graphics card. The 128GB DDR5 memory and liquid cooling support sustained heavy workloads. It targets users who want a ready-to-play machine without assembly.

PCI Express x16 Graphics Interface Limits

The Radeon RX 9070 connects through a PCI Express x16 slot, which defines the bandwidth ceiling for the GPU. This interface handles modern gaming and content creation data flows without bottlenecking the 16GB GDDR6 frame buffer. The platform uses the LGA 1851 socket for the processor, locking the CPU upgrade path to this specific generation. No other graphics interface is present on this motherboard.

4TB NVMe Plus 2TB HDD Storage Headroom

The 4TB NVMe SSD provides rapid access for the operating system and active project files. The additional 2TB SATA III HDD offers bulk capacity for media libraries and backups. Together they cover most gaming and creative storage needs comfortably. Users building massive local datasets or running multiple virtual machines may eventually require external or network-attached expansion.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 4TB NVMe SSD or the 2TB HDD for my main games?

Install the operating system and active titles on the 4TB NVMe SSD for fast load times; use the 2TB SATA III HDD for media archives and backups.

What does the 5.7GHz figure on the Core Ultra 9 285K mean once the PC is built?

It is the CPU base frequency across 24 cores, giving consistent high clock speeds for gaming and heavy multitasking without relying on boost alone.

How does the PCI Express x16 slot limit the Radeon RX 9070 in this chassis?

The card runs at full x16 electrical width, so the GPU's 16GB GDDR6 memory and compute units operate without bandwidth restriction.
