ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Ryzen 7 9700X RTX 5070 Ti 128GB DDR5 2TB NVMe 2TB HDD gaming PC

System configuration

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a pre-built gaming desktop built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti graphics card with 16GB GDDR7 memory. It ships with 128GB DDR5 RAM, a 2TB NVMe SSD, a 2TB SATA III HDD and Windows 11 Home. This machine targets enthusiasts who want a high-core-count CPU and a modern GPU in a single ready-to-play package. Buyers who need a smaller chassis or a lower-cost entry point should look elsewhere.

Sustained load behaviour

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the Ryzen 7 9700X base frequency of 3.8GHz during extended sessions, while the 850W power supply feeds both the CPU and the RTX 5070 Ti under continuous demand. The dual-storage layout keeps the operating system and active titles on the NVMe drive, leaving the 2TB hard disk for bulk data without throttling the primary volume. VR-ready certification confirms the GPU maintains frame pacing over long periods. The system is not designed for custom water-loop expansion or dual-GPU configurations.

Installation and common issues

The desktop arrives fully assembled and tested, so setup consists of connecting power, peripherals and a display, then completing the Windows 11 out-of-box experience. Four DDR5 slots are populated to reach 128GB, leaving no free slots for memory upgrades without replacing modules. The 2TB HDD uses a SATA III interface; adding further SATA drives requires available ports and cabling not detailed in the specifications. Component brands may vary from the images shown.
