Built for high-end gaming and creative workloads

The ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a liquid-cooled desktop powered by an AMD Ryzen 9 9950X 16-core processor running at 4.3GHz base frequency. It targets users who need strong single-thread speed and multi-core throughput for modern games, streaming and content creation. The system ships with Windows 11 Home installed and includes Wi-Fi and RGB lighting.

Storage capacity and memory headroom

A 1TB NVMe SSD provides fast boot and application loading, while a 2TB SATA III HDD adds bulk capacity for game libraries and media files. The board populates all four slots with 128GB of DDR5 memory, leaving no free DIMM sockets for further expansion. Buyers who want more storage will need to add drives externally or replace existing ones.

Interface and power delivery limits

The GeForce RTX 5060 Ti connects via a PCI Express x16 slot and carries 8GB of GDDR7 video memory, supporting VR-ready experiences. A 750W power supply feeds the CPU, GPU, 360mm liquid cooler and all onboard components. Builders who need a second card or higher-wattage headroom for future upgrades will find the chassis and PSU capacity fixed.

Questions about this item

Will my existing SATA III hard drives work with this system?

Yes, the motherboard includes SATA III ports so your current 2TB SATA III HDD and any other SATA drives will connect directly without adapters.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler is keeping the Ryzen 9 9950X at safe temperatures?

Monitor CPU core temperatures in the BIOS or with ASUS Armoury Crate software; the 16-core processor should stay well below its thermal limit under load when the cooler is functioning correctly.

Does the box include the 750W power supply and Windows 11 Home licence, or must I buy them separately?

The 750W power supply is pre-installed and Windows 11 Home is pre-activated; nothing extra is required to start using the PC.
