ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White desktop pairs a 16-core AMD Ryzen 9 9950X processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card. It targets enthusiasts who want a pre-built system for 4K gaming and heavy content creation workloads. The chassis includes a 360mm liquid cooler and ships with Windows 11 Home installed.

Capacity and headroom

The system provides 128GB of DDR5 memory across four populated slots, leaving no free DIMM positions for future upgrades. Storage combines a 1TB NVMe SSD for the operating system and a 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk data. The RTX 5090 contributes 32GB of GDDR7 video memory for large texture sets.

Thermals noise and power

A 360mm liquid cooler handles the 16-core CPU thermal load under sustained gaming or rendering sessions. The 1200W power supply delivers headroom for the GPU and platform power draw during peak loads. Component brands may vary, so exact acoustic profiles depend on the specific fans and pump installed.

Questions about this item

Will my existing AM4 cooler and DDR5 modules fit the AM5 socket on this Ryzen 9 9950X?

The Ryzen 9 9950X uses the AM5 socket which requires a compatible cooler mounting pattern; your AM4 cooler will not fit without an adapter bracket, but DDR5 modules are the correct type for this platform.

How can I confirm the 360mm liquid cooler and RTX 5090 32GB GDDR7 are operating correctly after first boot?

Enter the UEFI to verify the CPU temperature reads near idle with the 360mm liquid cooler active, then run GPU-Z to confirm the RTX 5090 reports 32GB GDDR7 memory and PCI Express x16 link width.

Does the box include the 1200W power supply cables and Windows 11 licence, or must I buy them separately?

The 1200W power supply is pre-installed with all cables connected, Windows 11 Home is pre-activated, and the 1TB NVMe plus 2TB HDD are already fitted; only a monitor, keyboard and mouse are needed to start.
