Ready-to-play desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White system arrives assembled with an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D 16-core processor at 4.7GHz, 128GB DDR5 memory, an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 graphics card with 12GB GDDR7, a 1TB NVMe SSD plus a 2TB SATA III HDD, an 850W power supply, a 360mm liquid cooler, WiFi, RGB lighting and Windows 11 Home. It targets gamers and creators who want high frame rates and fast load times without building a PC themselves. Buyers who need more internal drive bays or a different GPU tier should look elsewhere.

Compatibility checklist

Confirm that your display has a PCI Express x16 compatible input such as HDMI or DisplayPort for the RTX 5070. Verify that your desk or floor space accommodates a full-size desktop tower with a 360mm liquid cooler. Ensure your mains outlet can supply an 850W power supply. The motherboard uses an AM5 socket and offers four DDR5 slots, all populated, so no memory upgrades are possible without removing modules.

Bundled impact

The 360mm liquid cooler keeps the 16-core CPU at stable temperatures during extended sessions. The 1TB NVMe SSD provides rapid boot and game launch speeds while the 2TB HDD adds bulk storage for media. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed and activated. Component brands may vary from the images shown.

Questions about this item

Does the ROG Strix Helios GX601 White ship with Windows 11 Home already installed, or do I need to buy a licence separately?

Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed and activated, so the desktop is ready to use straight away.

Should I pick the 128 GB DDR5 configuration or add more memory for the Ryzen 7 9800X3D?

The board holds 128 GB across four slots and all slots are already populated, so no further DDR5 can be added.

What does the 12 GB GDDR7 frame buffer on the RTX 5070 mean for 1440p gaming?

The 12 GB GDDR7 buffer lets the RTX 5070 hold high-resolution textures at 1440p without swapping to system memory.
