ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White Gaming Desktop

This ASUS ROG Strix Helios GX601 White is a new gaming desktop PC built around an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X processor with 8 cores at 3.8GHz and an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090 graphics card with 32GB GDDR7 memory. It targets enthusiasts who want a liquid-cooled system ready for high-resolution gaming and demanding creative workloads immediately.

360mm liquid cooler and 1200W power supply

A 360mm liquid cooler manages CPU thermals while the 1200W power supply delivers stable current to the RTX 5090 and other components. The dual-storage layout pairs a 1TB NVMe SSD for fast boot and load times with a 2TB SATA III HDD for bulk capacity. Windows 11 Home is pre-installed so the machine is ready to use on arrival.

Suits 4K gamers and creators needing maximum GPU

The 32GB GDDR7 frame buffer and 128GB DDR5 system memory suit 4K gamers, 3D artists and video editors who need large VRAM and RAM headroom. Buyers who want more storage bays or a smaller chassis should look elsewhere. Component brands may vary from the configuration shown.

Questions about this item

Will the 360 mm liquid cooler on the Ryzen 7 9700X need coolant replacement or pump service later?

The sealed 360 mm liquid cooler is maintenance-free for its lifespan; no coolant top-ups or pump servicing are required under normal use.

What limit appears first when the GeForce RTX 5090 runs sustained heavy workloads?

The 1200 W power supply sets the overall power ceiling; the GPU and CPU will throttle before the unit can draw more than 1200 W continuously.

How loud and hot does the system get when it runs all day with the RTX 5090 under load?

The 360 mm liquid cooler keeps the Ryzen 7 9700X at low temperatures with quiet fan curves, while the RTX 5090 exhausts heat through its own fans; chassis airflow handles the 1200 W supply’s waste heat without excessive noise.
