16-inch 165 Hz WUXGA gaming laptop

The ASUS ROG Zephyrus M16 GU603ZM pairs a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12700H processor with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card. A 16.0-inch IPS-level display delivers 1920 x 1200 resolution at 165 Hz with 3 ms response time. The system includes 40 GB of DDR5 4800 MHz memory and a 1 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD. Windows 11 Home comes pre-installed.

Suits mobile creators and competitive players

Fourteen cores and twenty threads handle rendering, compilation and high-refresh gaming in a 4.19 lb chassis. The 100 % DCI-P3 panel with 500-nit brightness serves colour-critical work. Buyers who need more than 6 GB of video memory or a newer GPU architecture should consider alternative models. The fixed 8 GB on-board memory limits total capacity to the installed 40 GB.

Ready to use after unboxing

HIDevolution performs BIOS updates, driver installation and stress testing before shipment so the laptop boots straight to a stable desktop. The single SO-DIMM slot is already populated with a 32 GB module alongside the soldered 8 GB, leaving no room for further memory upgrades. The M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot holds the 1 TB drive; adding a second SSD requires opening the chassis and verifying spare slot availability.

Questions about this item

Will the 16-inch 165Hz display fit in my current laptop sleeve?

The chassis measures 13.98 x 9.57 x 0.78 inches; compare those dimensions with your sleeve's internal space before buying.

Can I add more memory later if 40 GB proves tight?

The 8 GB on-board module is soldered and the single SO-DIMM slot holds the 32 GB stick already installed, so no further expansion is possible.

Does the 1 TB NVMe drive leave a free M.2 slot for a second SSD?

Only one M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 slot exists and it is occupied by the 1 TB drive, so adding another internal SSD is not supported.
