4-pack retractable utility knives

This set includes four 18 mm snap-off cutters designed for paper, plastic, cardboard, vinyl and leather. High-carbon steel blades hold a fine edge through repeated use. The orange plastic handles measure 5.1 inches and feature textured grips to reduce slipping. They suit home, office and heavy-duty tasks.

Locking slider and snap-off blades

A locking slider secures the blade at the chosen length, preventing accidental movement while cutting. Snap-off segments let you renew the edge without tools, keeping cuts clean on tough materials. The mechanism supports quick length changes for different jobs. No separate blades are included in the pack.

Limits of the snap-off system

The 18 mm blade width restricts the maximum cutting depth per pass. Snap-off segments eventually run out, requiring a full blade replacement that is not supplied. The plastic handle is not rated for industrial impact or chemical exposure. Users needing longer reach or specialised blades will need a different tool.

Questions about this item

How often will the snap-off blades on these 18mm cutters need replacing?

Each cutter uses snap-off segments; when a segment dulls you snap it off to expose a fresh edge, and the high-carbon steel stays sharp through prolonged use.

What stops the blade from sliding during heavy cardboard cutting?

A locking slider secures the blade at the chosen length, preventing accidental retraction or extension while you cut.

Will the plastic handles get slippery during all-day use?

Textured surfaces on the thick hard-plastic handles are designed to prevent slipping and reduce hand fatigue during extended cutting sessions.
