Multi-Purpose 8-Inch Scissors

The Scotch 1428 is an 8-inch stainless steel scissor designed for everyday cutting tasks at home, in the office or at school. It features straight, hardened blades and a soft comfort-grip handle coloured red and grey. The tool weighs 0.09 kilograms and measures 1.3 by 10.3 by 26.9 centimetres. It is sold as a single unit and backed by a 10-year limited warranty from the brand.

Right- and Left-Handed Users

This model suits right-handed and left-handed users who need a general-purpose cutting tool for paper, card stock, fabric or craft materials. The comfort grip supports extended sessions without fatigue. Buyers who require non-stick blades for adhesive-heavy materials or titanium-fused edges for heavier industrial use should look at other options. The scissors are not specialised for sticky residue surfaces.

Everyday Cutting Capacity

The hardened stainless steel blades comfortably handle copy paper, photos, card stock and light fabric for crafting and office tasks. They provide reliable performance for routine desktop work and school projects. The straight-edge design runs out on very thick stacks, heavy-duty textiles or continuous cutting of adhesive-backed materials where a non-stick coating would prevent buildup.
