16-inch 165Hz gaming laptop

The ASUS TUF A16 pairs an AMD Ryzen 7 7735HS processor with AMD Radeon RX7600S graphics in a 16-inch chassis. Its 165Hz IPS-level FHD+ display targets competitive gamers and creators who need fluid motion. Windows 11 Home ships pre-installed for immediate use.

16GB DDR5 and 512GB PCIe SSD capacity

Sixteen gigabytes of DDR5 memory provides headroom for modern titles and multitasking workloads. The 512GB PCIe SSD offers fast boot and load times, though large game libraries will require external storage expansion. Both components sit at the entry tier for 165Hz gaming.

USB4 HDMI 2.1 and RJ45 connectivity

Two USB-A 3.2 ports, one USB-C 3.2 port and one USB4 port handle peripherals and high-speed external drives. An HDMI 2.1 FRL output drives external monitors at high refresh rates. The RJ45 Ethernet port adds stable wired networking for online play.

Questions about this item

Can the HDMI 2.1 port drive my existing 165 Hz external monitor at its native refresh rate?

The HDMI 2.1 FRL port supports high-bandwidth video output and can drive a 165 Hz 1920 x 1200 display at full refresh without an adapter.

How can I verify the Ryzen 7 7735HS is hitting its 4.7 GHz turbo and the RX7600S is active after setup?

Open Task Manager’s Performance tab to watch the CPU reach 4.7 GHz under load and confirm the Radeon RX7600S shows as the active GPU in games or benchmarks.

What accessories are included in the box and what must I buy separately for expanded storage?

The box contains the laptop, power adapter and documentation; a second PCIe SSD must be purchased separately to add storage beyond the 512 GB drive.
