TUF Dash F15 15.6" 144Hz Gaming Laptop

The ASUS TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR is a 15.6 inch FHD gaming laptop with a 144Hz IPS-level display. It runs on an Intel 12th Generation i7-12650H processor with 10 cores and 16 threads. The system includes an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU with 8GB GDDR6 video memory. It ships with Windows 11 Home installed for immediate use.

Gelid GC Extreme TIM and 8TB NVMe Upgrade

HIDevolution applies Gelid GC Extreme thermal interface material on the CPU and GPU to lower system temperatures under load. The storage is upgraded to 8TB using two 4TB M.2 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSDs for fast boot and load times. Memory is configured as 32GB DDR5 4800MHz dual channel using two 16GB modules. These upgrades are performed by an authorized ASUS build-to-order dealer with full quality testing.

32GB DDR5 and RTX 3070 8GB Capacity

The 32GB DDR5 4800MHz memory handles memory-hungry applications and heavy multitasking with headroom to spare. The RTX 3070 with 8GB GDDR6 drives the 1920 x 1080 144Hz panel at high refresh rates in modern titles. The 8TB NVMe array provides extensive space for large game libraries and media projects. Demanding workloads beyond 8GB video memory or single-thread speeds above 4.7 GHz will encounter limits.

Questions about this item

Can the 32 GB DDR5 4800MHz memory or the 8 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD be upgraded later?

The laptop uses two 16 GB DDR5 4800MHz modules and two 4 TB M.2 NVMe drives, so both memory and storage can be replaced with higher-capacity parts when needed.

Which component hits its limit first during long gaming sessions on the RTX 3070 8 GB GDDR6?

The GPU's 8 GB GDDR6 frame buffer fills before the 32 GB system memory, so texture-heavy titles at 144 Hz will hit VRAM capacity first.

How loud and hot does the chassis get when the i7-12650H runs at 4.7 GHz all day?

Gelid GC Extreme paste on the CPU and GPU lowers core temperatures under sustained load, keeping fan noise lower than stock paste would allow.
