Questions about this item

Will my existing PCIe 3.0 NVMe SSDs work if I move them into this laptop?

Yes, the laptop uses a PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe interface, so any PCIe 3.0 NVMe drive you already own will be compatible and run at its rated speed.

How can I verify the RTX 3070 is running at full performance after I set up Windows 11 Pro?

Open the NVIDIA Control Panel and confirm the GPU shows 8 GB GDDR6 memory; then run a GPU stress test and check that the core clock reaches the expected boost range under load.

Does the box include a second DDR5 SODIMM slot so I can add more memory later?

The laptop ships with 32 GB as 2 x 16 GB DDR5 4800 MHz modules, filling both SODIMM slots, so no free slot remains for additional memory.
