Built for mobile gaming and heavy multitasking

The ASUS TUF Dash F15 FX517ZR pairs a 12th Generation Intel Core i7-12650H with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 GPU. Ten cores reach a 4.7 GHz turbo frequency while 8 GB of GDDR6 video memory drives the 15.6 inch FHD 144Hz panel. Thirty-two gigabytes of DDR5 4800MHz RAM and a 16 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe array provide abundant workspace for modern titles and creative workloads.

Suits creators and gamers who need storage depth

This configuration fits users who run large asset libraries, virtual machines or multiple AAA games simultaneously. The dual 8 TB drives eliminate the need for external expansion. Buyers who prioritise thinner chassis, longer unplugged runtime or higher refresh-rate panels should evaluate alternatives.

Sixteen terabytes handle vast project libraries

The NVMe array loads massive texture packs, video timelines and database files without bottlenecking the CPU or GPU. Thirty-two gigabytes of system memory keeps background tasks resident during intensive sessions. When GPU compute or VRAM limits are reached in 4K rendering or high-ray-count scenes, the 8 GB frame buffer becomes the constraint.

Questions about this item

Does the 16 TB PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD come pre-installed or do I need to fit it myself?

The 16 TB storage is installed by the builder before the laptop ships, so it arrives ready to use.

Will the i7-12650H and RTX 3070 combination run hotter than a stock build if I keep my existing cooling pad?

Gelid GC Extreme thermal compound is applied to both the CPU and GPU during assembly to lower system temperatures under load.

How can I verify the 32 GB DDR5 4800MHz memory is running in dual-channel mode after first boot?

Open Task Manager, select the Performance tab, choose Memory and confirm "Slots used: 2 of 2" and a speed of 4800 MHz.
