24-inch 240Hz Fast IPS gaming monitor

The ASUS TUF Gaming VG249QML5A is a 23.8-inch viewable Full HD display built for competitive players who value speed and colour consistency. Its Fast IPS panel covers 99% of the sRGB gamut and reaches 300 cd/m² brightness with a 1,000:1 contrast ratio. Wide 178° viewing angles keep the image stable from almost any position. The flat anti-glare surface reduces reflections during long sessions.

240Hz refresh rate with 0.30ms response time

A 240Hz refresh rate combined with a 0.30ms minimum response time is the specification that determines whether this monitor matches a high-frame-rate setup. ELMB Sync can operate simultaneously with variable refresh rate to suppress ghosting and tearing without sacrificing adaptive sync. FreeSync Premium and G-SYNC Compatible certification ensures tear-free delivery across a broad range of GPU frame rates.

Height-adjustable stand.

The included stand provides height, pivot, swivel and tilt adjustments so the screen can be positioned precisely without a separate mount arm. A DisplayPort 1.4 cable is supplied, enabling the full 240Hz signal immediately. The bundle also adds a 3-month Adobe Creative Cloud subscription valid until 31/8/2026, giving access to creative applications at no extra cost.

Questions about this item

What does the 240Hz refresh rate mean when the monitor is running a game?

The panel can show up to 240 frames every second so fast motion stays clear and input feels responsive during competitive play.

How does the DisplayPort 1.4 connection limit the 240Hz signal?

DisplayPort 1.4 carries enough bandwidth for 1920 x 1080 at 240Hz with 8-bit colour so the full refresh rate is available without compression.

Will the included stand fit a 100 x 100mm VESA mount if I want to use a monitor arm?

Yes the monitor has 100 x 100mm VESA holes so any standard arm or wall bracket will attach directly.
