ASUS TUF GT301 Ryzen 7 9700X RTX 5070 Gaming PC

This pre-built desktop combines an AMD Ryzen 7 9700X 8-core processor at 3.8GHz with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 12GB GDDR7 graphics card. It includes 128GB DDR5 memory across four slots, a 4TB NVMe SSD and a 2TB SATA III HDD. A 240mm liquid cooler and 850W power supply support sustained loads. Windows 11 Home is installed.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This system fits gamers and creators who want a ready-to-use PC with high memory capacity and fast NVMe storage. Buyers needing more than 128GB RAM or additional GPU slots should consider other platforms. The single CPU socket and fixed 850W unit limit future processor or multi-GPU upgrades.

The spec that decides fit: 128GB DDR5 memory

The installed 128GB DDR5 across four populated slots determines whether this PC matches your workload. If your applications require this exact capacity today, the build is ready. If you need a different memory amount or speed, the current configuration cannot be changed without replacing modules.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 240mm liquid cooler in the GT301 case without bending the tubes?

The 240mm liquid cooler is factory-fitted inside the GT301 chassis; you only need to connect the pump header to the motherboard and ensure the radiator fans plug into the CPU fan header for speed control.

When will the 240mm liquid cooler require maintenance or replacement?

The sealed 240mm liquid cooler runs maintenance-free; plan to replace the unit only if pump noise increases or CPU temperatures rise above normal after several years of use.

What thermal limit appears first on the Ryzen 7 9700X under sustained load with the 240mm liquid cooler?

The 8-core Ryzen 7 9700X will hit its boost-temperature ceiling before the 240mm liquid cooler saturates, so clock speeds taper once the CPU reaches its maximum operating temperature.
