Convertible 14.0" touchscreen laptop

The ASUS VivoBook Flip 14 TM420IA-DB71T is a 2-in-1 device with a 14.0 inch Full HD touchscreen display. It runs on an AMD Ryzen 7 4700U 8-core processor with a base clock of 2.0 GHz and a turbo frequency up to 4.1 GHz. The system includes 8GB DDR4 memory and a 1TB PCIe NVMe SSD. Windows 10 Pro 64-bit comes pre-installed.

Active Pen and fingerprint reader included

An Active Pen is supplied for direct input on the touchscreen, useful for sketching or annotating documents. A fingerprint security system enables biometric login without typing a password. The backlit keyboard assists typing in low light. Connectivity covers 802.11ac Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 4.2 for wireless peripherals.

Single 8GB DDR4 SODIMM module

Memory is provided as one 8GB DDR4 SODIMM stick, so total capacity is fixed at 8GB unless the module is replaced. The integrated AMD Radeon Graphics uses system memory for video tasks. Buyers who need more than 8GB of RAM for heavy multitasking or virtual machines should verify upgrade options before purchase.

Questions about this item

Can the 8GB DDR4 memory be upgraded later?

The 8GB DDR4 SODIMM module is removable, so a higher-capacity stick can be fitted when more memory is needed.

What thermal limit appears first when the Ryzen 7 4700U runs at 4.1 GHz for long periods?

The 45 W power supply and 42 Wh battery cap sustained power, so the processor throttles before temperatures peak.

How loud does the cooling fan get during an all-day workload?

Fan noise rises under continuous load but stays at a low office-friendly level because the 45 W adapter limits sustained heat output.
