ASUS VivoBook Go 15.6 FHD laptop

The ASUS VivoBook Go 15.6 inch Full HD laptop is built for students and office workers who need a portable Windows 11 machine for daily tasks. An AMD Ryzen 5 7520U processor with eight cores and a 4.3GHz turbo frequency handles web browsing, document editing and video playback. Integrated AMD Radeon graphics drive the 1920 x 1080 non-touch display. The system ships with 8GB of soldered DDR4 memory and a 512GB NVMe SSD.

Suits light productivity not heavy multitasking

This laptop suits users who mainly run one or two applications at a time and value the 180-degree lay-flat hinge for sharing the screen. The webcam privacy shutter adds a physical layer of security for video calls. Buyers who need more than 8GB of memory for virtual machines, large datasets or modern gaming titles should look at a different configuration. The single USB-A 2.0 port and HDMI output cover basic peripheral connections only.

8GB soldered DDR4 memory cannot be upgraded

The single specification that decides fit is the 8GB of DDR4 memory soldered to the motherboard with a maximum supported capacity of 8GB. No SO-DIMM slots are available, so the amount of RAM is fixed for the life of the device. If your workflow demands expandable memory, this model will not accommodate that requirement. The 512GB NVMe SSD provides fast storage for the operating system and files.
