Everyday laptop for office and study

The ASUS VivoBook X1504VAP ships with Windows 11 Home and an Intel Core 3 100U processor that reaches 4.7 GHz across six cores. It provides 32 GB of DDR5 memory and a 1 TB NVMe solid-state drive for quick application loading and ample file storage. The 15.6 inch Full HD IPS panel delivers 1920 x 1080 resolution without touch input. This configuration suits students and office workers who need a responsive machine for documents, web browsing and video calls.

Thermals noise and power in normal use

Integrated Intel UHD Graphics handle streaming and light creative work without a discrete GPU adding heat or fan noise. The 180 degree lay-flat hinge allows flexible positioning while the physical webcam shield offers privacy when the camera is not in use. Typical productivity workloads keep the chassis comfortable and the system quiet during extended sessions.

Behaviour under sustained load

The six-core processor maintains its 4.7 GHz turbo frequency while thermal headroom allows, then manages clocks to stay within the cooling solution's limits. Long compiles, large spreadsheet calculations or extended video exports will run at controlled speeds rather than peak burst rates. Buyers who need discrete graphics performance or higher multi-thread throughput should consider a different class of system.

Questions about this item

How do I open the chassis to add storage, and which screw is most often missed?

Remove all visible base screws, then use a plastic tool to release the clips starting near the front edge; the screw hidden under the rear rubber foot is the one most people overlook.

Which component will need replacement first under daily charging cycles?

The internal lithium-ion battery will degrade before the 32GB DDR5 memory or 1TB NVMe SSD, so plan a battery swap after several hundred full cycles.

What thermal limit appears first during a long compile or render job?

The Intel Core 3 100U hits its 4.7GHz turbo ceiling, then throttles to its 1.2GHz base clock once the cooling assembly saturates.
