Compact IP KVM Receiver

The ATEN KE8900SR is a slim HDMI receiver that lets you operate a remote computer from a local USB keyboard, mouse and monitor over a standard network link. It targets administrators who need secure, out-of-band access to servers kept in a controlled environment. The unit works as a standalone extender or as part of a larger matrix when managed by KE Matrix Management Software.

Simple network deployment

Connect the receiver to an HDMI display and USB peripherals, then link it to the same intranet as a KE8900ST transmitter; no proprietary cabling is required. Configuration can be handled through the on-screen display, a web browser or the management software. The main limitation is that the receiver supports only a single local display, so multi-monitor setups are not possible.

1920 x 1200 single-head capacity

Video is delivered at up to 1920 x 1200 with lossless compression and minimal latency, which is sufficient for typical server administration consoles and text-heavy workloads. Graphics-intensive applications or higher-resolution content will exceed the supported output. Virtual media and RS-232 serial control are available for remote maintenance tasks.
