The ATEN KH1508A is a 1U rack-mountable KVM switch that lets a single keyboard, monitor and mouse control eight directly connected computers. It accepts PS/2 or USB console peripherals and a VGA display, while each server link uses a fixed Cat5 cable built into the CPU module. No software is required for operation.

Replaces standalone switches and the earlier KH1508

This unit replaces individual KVMs or the non-A KH1508 by integrating the Cat5 cable into the module and adding mixed PS/2 and USB console support. Daisy-chaining up to 31 additional units expands control to 256 computers, making the jump worthwhile when a server room grows beyond eight systems and cable management matters.
