4-Port Secure KVM Switch Kit

This ATEN CS1144DP4 kit provides a four-port secure KVM switch with dual-display support for DisplayPort and HDMI sources. It includes all required cabling so operators can control four computers from one keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor console. The package suits government, defence and finance environments that mandate strict desktop isolation.

NIAP Protection Profile 4.0 compliance

The switch meets NIAP Protection Profile version 4.0 requirements for peripheral sharing. It enforces unidirectional data flow between each connected computer and the shared console, preventing leakage across security domains. Dual-display switching is limited to the two included DisplayPort-to-HDMI active adapters and the supplied 1.8 m cable kits.

Replaces multi-system desk setups

This kit replaces separate monitors, keyboards and mice for each workstation, reducing desk clutter and eliminating the need to physically move between systems. The upgrade is worth it when a single operator must manage four isolated computers simultaneously and the organisation requires certified PP 4.0 assurance rather than a standard commercial KVM.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the DisplayPort or the Universal cable kit for my monitors?

The kit includes both: two DisplayPort-to-HDMI active adapters, two 1.8 m USB DisplayPort dual-display cables and two 1.8 m USB universal dual-display cables, so you can match each computer’s video output without buying extra cables.

What does the 4-port label mean when I sit down at the console?

You can connect up to four computers and switch among them with a single keyboard, mouse and dual-monitor setup, keeping each system isolated while sharing the same peripherals.

How does PP 4.0 affect the way the switch handles my video and USB signals?

PP 4.0 compliance means the switch meets the latest peripheral-sharing protection profile, enforcing strict data-path isolation between the four connected computers and the shared console.
