2-Port USB-C KVM Switch 4K 30Hz

The ATEN US3310 is a two-port USB-C KVM switch that lets one HDMI display, keyboard and mouse control two USB-C systems. It supports mobile devices such as smartphones and iPad Pro alongside laptops. A wired remote port selector enables quick switching without reaching the unit. The device also functions as a USB hub for connected peripherals.

Desk setups sharing one display between two USB-C

This switch suits users who dock two USB-C computers or a computer and a tablet to a single monitor and peripheral set. It is not suited for workflows that require a refresh rate higher than 30Hz at 4K resolution. Buyers needing more than two connected systems should look at a different solution.

4K 30Hz video via HDMI

The switch delivers a maximum video resolution of 4K at 30Hz over its HDMI output. This specification determines whether the unit matches the display and quality requirements of the intended setup.

Questions about this item

Which display cable and peripherals do I need to connect to the US3310 so I can share them between two USB-C systems?

Connect one HDMI display, a USB keyboard and a USB mouse to the switch; the two USB-C hosts then share that single display and peripheral set.

Will the US3310 maintain my 4K 30Hz monitor layout when I switch between a laptop and an iPad Pro?

Yes, the HDMI link stays active during switching so the 4K 30Hz resolution and window layout are preserved on both the laptop and the iPad Pro.

How can I confirm the USB 3.2 link is running at 5 Gb/s after I dock both computers?

Transfer a large file between the two systems and verify the copy speed reaches the 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 rate reported by the OS.
