Signal Splitter for Four 4K Displays

The ATEN VS194 is a DisplayPort signal splitter that takes a single source and sends identical video and audio to four connected displays. It supports resolutions up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz and complies with DisplayPort 1.2a. The unit is housed in a metal chassis measuring 4.9 by 3.1 by 9.8 and includes a 5 V DC power adapter.

Multi-Display Environments Only

This splitter suits installers who need the same 4K image replicated across four screens in digital signage, control rooms, classrooms or home theatre setups. It will not help users who require independent content on each monitor, those needing an MST hub for extended desktop modes, or anyone with only HDMI or DVI sources and displays.

One Input Drives Four Outputs

The decisive specification is the single DisplayPort input paired with four DisplayPort outputs, limiting the device to pure signal replication rather than multi-stream transport. Buyers must confirm their source provides a DisplayPort 1.2a signal and that all four target displays accept 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz over DisplayPort.

Questions about this item

What does the 4096 x 2160 resolution at 60 Hz mean for my displays?

The splitter sends a single DisplayPort 1.2a source to four monitors, each receiving up to 4096 x 2160 at 60 Hz without downscaling.

How does the DisplayPort 1.2a interface limit the setup?

DisplayPort 1.2a caps the total bandwidth, so all four outputs share the same 4K 60 Hz signal rather than independent streams.

Will the metal unit fit on my desk or rack?

The enclosure measures 4.9 x 3.1 x 9.8 inches and weighs 11.64 oz, so it sits on a desk or mounts in a standard rack.
