15.6-inch FHD touch replacement panel

This 15.6 inch Full HD screen delivers 1920x1080 resolution at 60Hz with touch input. It uses a 40-pin video connector and matches part number LP156WFD(SP)(K2). The panel offers 220 cd/m² brightness and a 700:1 contrast ratio. It is a new component intended for compatible laptop repairs.

Ideal for specific model repair

This display suits owners of laptops requiring the exact LP156WFD(SP)(K2) panel with touch functionality. It will not fit machines that use a different pin count, screen size, resolution or a non-touch variant. Buyers who need a higher refresh rate, greater brightness or a different connector should look elsewhere.

40-pin connector compatibility check

The single specification that determines fit is the 40-pin video signal connector combined with the LP156WFD(SP)(K2) part number. Verify the original screen uses this exact pin layout and part code before ordering. A mismatched connector or part number will prevent installation.

Questions about this item

Does the 60 Hz refresh rate limit smooth motion during long gaming sessions?

The panel runs at 60 Hz, so fast motion will update at that fixed rate during extended use.

Will the 220 cd/m² brightness and 700:1 contrast generate noticeable heat or fan noise after hours of operation?

The screen itself is a passive display; it adds no fan noise and its 220 cd/m² backlight produces minimal extra heat inside the chassis.

Must my laptop already have a 40-pin eDP connector and touch-digitiser support for this 15.6 inch FHD panel to work?

Yes, the replacement requires a 40-pin video connector and a compatible touch controller on the host laptop.
